SINGAPORE TOURS TERM & CONDITIONS
I. All tours must be booked at least 7 days in advance. All the tours should be booked online.
II. All tours are based on minimum of 10 persons to operate, WTS Travel reserves the right to make changes or cancel the tour should we not achieve the numbers. However, WTS will advise all the clients of the tour operation.
III. Should you decide the cancel, you would need to advise WTS Travel in writing 72 hours prior to your departure date. WTS Travel would give you 100% credit for the next tour you select on same value tour. Please note that there would be no refund on the tours purchased.
IV. Should you be medically unwell on the day of the tour, please do advise WTS Travel operations staff that you are unable to take the tour. You would need to show us a Medical Certificate as proof that you are unwell, as a no show policy would constitute " No Show " hence a 100% forfeiture of your tour fare. With a Medical certificate, you will be allowed to postpone your tour to another when you have recovered.
V. All participating members of the tour would need to be at the prescribe meeting location for the departure of the tour at least 10 minutes prior to the departure time. The Tour Guide will only wait 5 minutes for any late comers as it would be gracious if everyone can meet on time and have the full duration of the tour.
VI. Before the start of the tour, temperature taking would be conducted for all participants. Any participants found to be unwell and a temperature of more than 37degrees temperature, would be denied participating in the tour. Our Safety Management Officer will assist the participant to the nearest medical centre or clinic.
VII. Face Mask must be worn through out the tour. Hand sanitizers would be provided during the tour to clean your hands.
This document confirms the terms and conditions of your agreement with WTS Travel (ROC 200406267M), registered in Singapore to be a registered Agent for selling the travel products available in the WTS Travel Booking Inbound Portal to your customers.
Any Booking made shall be deemed to be an offer by you to purchase the relevant accommodation and/or travel arrangements subject to the following Booking terms and conditions:
DEFINITIONS
1. In this Agreement, "we", "us" and "our", "WTS Travel" shall mean WTS Travel Pte. Ltd. Singapore and "you", "your" and "yours" shall mean the Agent or Registered User.
2. The following capitalized terms shall have the following meanings:
"
WTS Travel Booking
" refers to the WTS Travel Booking Inbound Portal;
"
Order
" means a request made by you to purchase accommodation and/or travel arrangements with us using the WTS Travel Booking;
"
Booking
" means an order made for less than ten (10) free and independent travellers (FIT) by you with us using the WTS Travel Booking, which is accepted by us in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement;
"
Booking Amount
" means the total amount paid by the Agent upon placing the Booking using the WTS Travel Booking;
"
Confirmation
" means a written confirmation sent by e-mail by us confirming a Booking;
"
Extra Information Sheet
" refers to additional information relating to the relevant service as contained in the Service Voucher;
"
Service Voucher
" refers to the document confirming the Traveller’s entitlement to the service stipulated within;
"
Special Event Periods
" means periods specified by us when trade fairs, exhibitions, major conferences and other major events are being held at the relevant location. Such periods include public holidays and eve of public holidays;
"
Suppliers
" refers to the third party providers of the accommodation, travel and/or tour services; and
"
Traveller
" means each person travelling pursuant to a Booking.
ACCEPTANCE OF ORDERS
3. In most circumstances, Orders, with the exception of Orders that relate to Special Event Periods, will be accepted on the WTS Travel Booking up to two (2) working days prior to the date of arrival.
4. No contract between you and us for accommodation and/or travel arrangements shall come into existence until we (a) accept your Order; (b) issue a booking ID; and (c) issue a Confirmation by email or fax.
5. All our advertised travel arrangements and accommodation offers are subject to availability.
REPRESENTATION OF TRAVELLERS
6. When you make a Booking by submitting your Order to us, you guarantee that you have the authority to accept (and do accept) these terms and conditions on your behalf and on behalf of all Travellers.
7. It is your responsibility to ensure that any information for Travellers which we, our employees or our suppliers provide you is passed on to all Travellers for the relevant Booking. Any information that we provide you shall be deemed to be provided to each and every Traveller travelling pursuant to a Booking.
REPRESENTATIONS BY WTS Travel
8. Reasonable care has been taken to ensure that the content of our web site is correct at the time the information is uploaded. The information on our website is subject to amendment at any time without notice. All content on the WTS Travel Booking is published in good faith.
9. Star ratings for hotels are used to indicate the overall quality, level of service, food standard and range of facilities available in any given hotel. The criteria applied within each country will vary depending on the specific requirements established by the relevant issuing body where such a body exists. Some countries do not use star ratings as an official categorisation of the quality of accommodation. As such, the descriptions and star ratings of the hotels listed on the WTS Travel Booking are provided for informative purposes only and are not a guarantee or warranty of any kind by us.
ACCOMMODATION
10. For a description of room types please refer to the page titled ‘Hotel Search’ on the WTS Travel Booking.
11. There are certain room conditions that are unique in selected destinations as stated in this Clause. The following list is not necessarily exhaustive:
(a) A Triple room contains twin or double bed/s and, subject to availability, an extra roll-away bed.
(b) In some hotels, Double or Twin rooms may contain one (1) bed. Customers may request separate beds when placing their reservations, although separate beds are not guaranteed.
(c) Quadruple rooms usually contain two (2) double beds.
12. Most hotels regard the age of the child as being two (2) to twelve (12) years old. The child will normally use the existing bedding, although extra beds may be made available at an additional charge. The Agent must confirm such information at the time of placing the Booking.
13. Services included in the room rates are detailed on the WTS Travel Booking and on the booking confirmation. Personal expenses including, but not limited to, porter services, drinks from the mini bar, meals, tips, dry cleaning, laundry, telephone calls are not included in the prices and shall be paid by the Travellers directly at the place of accommodation. Breakfast is not included for a child under two (2) years of age when staying free of charge.
14. In addition, it must be noted that:
(a) The Travellers are responsible for any damage caused by each Traveller within its party; and
(b) Each Traveller must comply with any rules and regulations set by the accommodation provider for the relevant Booking.
15. The total number of people (including infants and children) must not exceed the maximum occupancy shown on the WTS Travel Booking or on our Confirmation. If this is not complied with, access to the accommodation may be refused or additional amounts may be charged upon arrival.
16. For some accommodations, the stay at the accommodation is conditional upon the payment of a deposit by the Traveller upon arrival, to cover any supplementary charges incurred. The deposit will normally be paid using a credit card.
17. The WTS Travel Booking may contain a plan of the layout of the accommodation. If so, this is based on specifications provided to us by the accommodation provider. The plan will only be a general representation of the accommodation. The actual unit size, design, fixtures, furnishings and facilities may vary from those shown on the plan.
18. From time to time, we will offer promotions for free or discounted nights on a minimum night stay basis. Occasionally, the offer may stipulate that meals are not included in the offer. If meals are taken during the offer period they will be charged to the Traveller by the accommodation provider, usually upon departure.
SIGHTSEEING TOURS AND TICKETS
19. For all travel products, the tips are not included.
20. Children travelling free of charge may not be entitled to meals and must be carried on the lap of accompanying adults if no seats are available.
21. Suppliers of sightseeing tours reserve the right to ask any person to withdraw from any tour if they deem their acts or conduct offensive or a nuisance to other Travellers, and neither the Suppliers nor WTS Travel shall be liable in such an event.
22. Suppliers of sightseeing tours and WTS Travel decline any responsibility for any articles which have been forgotten or lost in their vehicles.
23. The pick-up timings from the place of accommodation and duration of all tours are approximate and are subject to traffic conditions.
24. Where a pick-up service from the place of accommodation is offered, the Suppliers of the sightseeing tours will pick up the Travellers from a majority of the major accommodation providers in the city, but not necessarily from all of them. The Agent must confirm the pick-up and drop-off point for all transport services.
25. If the Supplier is unable to pick up from the requested place of accommodation, an alternative pick-up point will be suggested.
26. The Suppliers of sightseeing tours reserve the right to alter itineraries or to cancel the tours at short or no notice for any reason, and neither the Suppliers nor WTS Travel shall be liable in such an event.
27. Where it is necessary for the suppliers and/or WTS Travel to cancel the tour, the Travellers will be offered one of the following options:
(a) To join the requested tour at an alternative time or on an alternative date;
(b) To join an alternative tour; or
(c) To receive a partial refund from us for the cancelled tour at our sole discretion on a case-to-case basis.
TRANSPORTATION AND TRANSFERS
28. The porter fees and tips are not included in the payment for transport services.
29. Where the Traveller will be receiving the transport service at the airport, station or port, it shall be the Traveller’s responsibility to ensure that he/she waits for his/her driver or representative at the appointed meeting point as detailed on the Traveller’s Service Voucher.
30. Should the Traveller not be able to locate his/her driver or representative at the start of a service for which a Booking has been made, it is the Traveller’s responsibility to call the relevant telephone number shown on the Traveller’s Service Voucher before making any alternative arrangements.
31. Where the Traveller will be receiving the transport service at his/her place of accommodation, the Traveller should ensure that he/she is waiting at the appointed meeting point, as shown on the Traveller’s Service Voucher, not less than fifteen (15) minutes prior to the confirmed pick-up time.
32. Where a local representative is included in the transfer service, he/she will assist with the necessary check-in procedures at the Travellers’ place of accommodation, airport, port or station.
33. For transfers which include the services of a driver, the driver will not assist with check-in at the place of accommodation or at the airport, port or station unless specifically stated in the Extra Information Sheet.
34. For transfer services, where a local representative is available at the airport only, the local representative will escort the Travellers to the driver who will carry out the rest of the transport service.
35. The durations of all transfers are an estimate of the driving time under average driving conditions. We take no responsibility for a flight, train or other connection being missed should the duration of the service exceed the duration displayed on the Service Voucher.
36. Where the itinerary for sightseeing is custom-made, the fees charged on the itinerary will not include any entrance fees for the driver or local tour guide. Where the Travellers require their tour guide to accompany them into an attraction which charges an entrance fee for the tour guide, the Travellers may be asked to cover the tour guide’s entrance fee as well as their own.
37. Where the itinerary for sightseeing is custom-made, the driver may provide a commentary whilst driving whenever it is possible to do so. Travellers should note the drivers may not be allowed to park the vehicle and accompany Travellers into specific attractions and may not be permitted to conduct tours on foot, due to guiding regulations.
38. Transfers are provided on the basis of one (1) average-sized suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per person. Should the Travellers bring more luggage than this, they may be required to pay a supplemental fee directly to the transfer provider. Where special conditions are attached to any transfer, you will be informed, at the time of making the Booking.
39. If the Traveller is unable to join his/her transfer, it is his/her responsibility to call the relevant telephone number as shown on the Service Voucher before making alternative arrangements.
40. The Suppliers of shared transfers reserve the right to ask any person to withdraw from any transfer if they deem their acts or conduct offensive or a nuisance to other passengers, and neither the Suppliers nor WTS Travel shall be liable in such an event.
41. The Suppliers of shared transfers shall not be responsible for any articles which have been forgotten or lost in their vehicles.
42. The Suppliers of shared transfers reserve the right to alter or to cancel services at short or no notice for any reason. Where it is necessary to cancel the transfer, the Travellers will be offered a full refund, and neither the Suppliers nor WTS Travel shall be subject to any further claims in such an event.
SERVICE VOUCHER
1. WTS Travel will email to the travellers the electronic voucher for service bookings inside WTS Travel Booking upon confirmation of the booking and when the full payment has been received.
2. Service voucher, together with the traveller’s original identity card/passport must be presented to suppliers and/or our representative upon arrival for all product types. The suppliers and/or WTS Travel reserve the right to charge for reservations at the best available rates at the time of the service should the travellers fail to produce the voucher. Also, should there is any discrepancy arising with the details of the required documents, the booking will be treated invalid and no refund will be given.
3. For ticket bookings (without transfer service), the Travellers are required to redeem the physical ticket directly to the suppliers as per point 02. There might be special circumstance where we will deliver the ticket to the accommodation stated in the voucher without additional charges. Should you fail providing accommodation details when making the bookings, we reserve the rights not to deliver the ticket and no refund will be given. The service voucher will indicate redemption details of the ticket bookings.
4. You are responsible for information that you provide upon the booking process. The booking should be checked for errors prior to issuance of the voucher. Suppliers and/or WTS Travel are not responsible for the errors occurred during the booking process.
5. Voucher is not transferable and does not have cash value. It is applicable for one time redeems which is not outside the valid dates shown in the voucher.
6. Taking care of the voucher is required. WTS Travel will not be obliged to replace the voucher if it is lost, mislaid, or stolen; the travellers will be required to purchase a new service to enable the traveller to enjoy the service.
7. Unutilized services are non-refundable.
CANCELLATION POLICY
43. All confirmed bookings are subject to the cancellation policy as follows:
(a) 15 working days prior to Arrival 25% charges of Booking Amount;
(b) 8 working days prior to Arrival 50% charges of Booking Amount;
(c) 4 working days prior to Arrival 75% charges of Booking Amount; and
(d) Less than 4 working days prior to arrival and no-show will incur 100% charges.
The cancellation time is based on Singapore Standard Time (GMT +8). We reserve the right to change these conditions from time to time.
44. By accepting this Agreement, you agree to the cancellation charges incurred in the event the Booking is cancelled. Additional cancellation charges may apply for certain Hotels.
45. Payments made through credit card may incur service charges. In event of cancellation such charges cannot be refunded.
46. A separate cancellation policy may apply during Special Event Periods and non-Special Event Periods.
47. Where special conditions are attached to any tour, you will be informed, at the time of making the Booking, of the relevant cancellation conditions which will apply.
AMENDMENTS AND CHANGES TO BOOKINGS
48. No amendments may be made to any items sold as a package Booking.
49. We reserve the right to change the choice of accommodation as stipulated in your Booking to one of at least comparable standard and to notify you of such change as soon as reasonably possible after it occurs. We shall not be liable to pay any compensation for such changes.
50. In circumstances which are not reasonably foreseeable and/or beyond our reasonable control, we may be forced to cancel your Booking in which case you will be notified of such a change as soon as possible and a full and prompt refund will be made, and WTS Travel shall not be subject to any further claims in such an event.
COMPLAINTS
51. Any complaint regarding the supply of a service should be brought to the attention of the accommodation or service provider in writing within 14 (fourteen) days after completion of the services in order for the complaint to be dealt with quickly. If the complaint is not resolved to the Traveller’s reasonable satisfaction, you shall notify us in writing by email within one (1) month of the date of service. Any complaint received after one (1) month of the date of service will not be investigated.
DISCOUNT VOUCHERS
52. We will endeavour to ensure that the discount vouchers are redeemable. However, we cannot guarantee that our Suppliers will not change the terms of such vouchers or withdraw them without notice at any time.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
53. We reserve the right not to honour the Service Voucher and the services listed in the Voucher in the event that the other terms and conditions in this Agreement are not fulfilled. We shall not be liable to replace the services and/or refund the booking amount listed in the Voucher.
54. As we provide hotels, transportation, and other travel services which may have been purchased directly from third party suppliers, we shall not be liable for any personal injury, illness, property damage or any other loss (direct or indirect) or expense arising out of the actions of hotels, transportation companies and/or other Suppliers providing services reserved through us. Under no circumstances shall we be liable for any consequential and/or indirect loss and/or damage.
FORCE MAJEURE
55. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, we shall not be deemed to be in breach of this Agreement, or otherwise be liable to you, for any delay in performance or the non-performance of any of our obligations under this Agreement, to the extent that the delay or non-performance is due to any force majeure, and our performance of our obligations will be suspended for the period that the force majeure continues, and the time for performance of that obligation shall be extended for a period that is equivalent to the period of such delay or non-performance.
Provided that as regards such delay or non-performance:
(a) we may, if the delay or non-performance continues for more than sixty (60) continuous days, terminate this Agreement with immediate effect by giving written notice to you and we will not be liable to you for such termination; and
(b) we will use all reasonable endeavours to bring that event to a close or to find a solution by which this Agreement may be performed despite the force majeure.
56. Force majeure shall include, without limitation:
(a) an Act of God, explosion, flood, tempest, fire or accident;
(b) war or threat of war, sabotage, insurrection, civil disturbance or requisition, terrorist attack;
(c) acts, restrictions, regulations, bye-laws, prohibitions or measures of any kind on the part of any governmental, parliamentary or focal authority (including but not limited to refusal or revocation of any licence or consent);
(d) import or export regulations or embargoes;
(e) riots, strikes, lock-outs or other industrial actions or trade disputes (whether involving employees of either party or of a third party);
(f) difficulties in obtaining raw materials, labour, fuel, parts or machinery;
(g) power failure or breakdown in machinery or disruption in telecommunication or electronic communication;
(h) interruption or failure of a utility service (including but not limited to electricity, gas, water; and
(i) renovations undertaken by the accommodation providers.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
57. The Confirmation and this Agreement represent our entire Agreement and as a result, you have not entered into a contract with us on the basis of any representation not expressly incorporated into these documents.
58. We reserve the right to change these conditions from time to time without notice.
PARTIAL INVALIDITY
59. If any term or provision in this Agreement shall be held to be illegal or unenforceable, in whole or in part, under any enactment or rule of law, such term or provision or part shall to that extent be deemed not to form part of this Agreement but the enforceability of the remainder of this Agreement shall not be affected.
CONTRACT (RIGHTS OF THIRD PARTIES) ACT
60. A person who is not a party to this Agreement shall have no right under the Contracts (Right of Third Parties) Act to enforce any of the terms of this Agreement.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
61. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
